Cash for caulkers: Proposed by the President

Recently, the American President introduced a proposal targeting the American homeowners. According to the proposal, the federal Government will reimburse the home owners for maintaining energy efficient homes. This proposal has been dubbed as cash for caulkers stimulus program.

Cash for Caulkers is a program that has been proposed by the US President for providing American homeowners 50% rebates up to $ 12000 for making energy improvements of their homes. According to the cash for Caulkers news, this program envisages to reward over five million American homes for retro fitting their homes in an energy efficient manner.

The US President has introduced a new proposal called the Homestar program, otherwise also known as the Cash for Caulkers program. As a part of this program, the President expects the law makers to approve a proposal that will provide 50% rebates up to $12000 for those families that make energy improvements to their homes.

According to the Cash for Caulkers news, a closer look at the proposals will show that this program operates at two levels. At one level it talks of providing the American homeowners with rebates and at another level expects these rebates to kick start the building and energy products industry. This means that as more and more Americans make use of this plan, which will create greater demand for home energy products like roofing, sidings, doors, windows, insulation products, etc.
